The Main Line suburbs of Philadelphia have a lot of options for family portrait locations. We’re close to several arboretums, parks abound and we’re surrounded by nature preserves. It may not be your first instinct with all of that natural bounty, but a session with a more urban vibe can be great – even in the suburbs!
This was my third session with the Pointon Family and it might be my favorite yet. We decided to explore our own hometown of Ardmore on a warm spring evening. Ardmore might be a small town, but there are so many great locations for portraits if you know where to look. I love this green tile wall, but it’s easy to drive right by if you don’t peer down the side street and into the bank parking lot. From there, we wandered through town and ended our session on a rooftop parking lot to capture that gorgeous last light of sunset.
