You know you need to catch up on your blogging when you start to write up your fall sessions and realized that you never posted about one of your favorite sessions EVER from this spring.
The Leitao Family won my Mother’s Day giveaway but I think that really I won. I told Sandy that I go at your children’s speed and it’s okay if they take a little time to warm up to me. Not so much here. When I showed up on their doorstep, their youngest grabbed my hand and dragged me up to her room to assign me a stuffed animal for play. That was pretty much how the rest of the session went, once we got down to the Scott Arboretum (Swarthmore campus). The girls were playful adventurers, who even snagged a big group sister hug without any prompting from me. The pic above is an improvised hula dance, learned on their trip to Hawaii. These three totally stole my heart and I hope for another playdate photo session soon!
